Calash supports OEG on its acquisition of OPS Wind

Calash is pleased to announce that it provided voice-of-the-customer support to OEG Energy Group on its acquisition of Offshore Painting Services Limited (OPS Wind), a leading provider of specialist operations and  maintenance (O&M) and training services to the offshore wind sector. 

Liverpool-headquartered OPS Wind focuses on the provision of skilled service technicians, composite protective solutions, blade repairs and global wind organisation training. and will become part of OEG Renewables within its topside service line. OEG’s renewables unit has performed 14 acquisitions since its formation in 2020, and the addition of OPS brings further specialist topside, subsea, marine and cable services, creating new opportunities to offer integrated service solutions, increasing project efficiencies and lowering interface risk for clients.

Calash’s voice-of-the-customer exercise focused on assessing OPS’s customer relationships, contract pipeline risk, competitive positioning, growth opportunities, and potential resource challenges.
